When we first put them on her, she was REALLY excited. She was reading things from a poster across the room and she was so happy. Then...they started to bug her. It'll not probably be the EASIEST thing getting her to wear her glasses, but we're building up the time throughout the day even. If she is distracted--watching a show, for instance--she seems willing to wear them. I am sure it must be nice to SEE the TV from across the room!! Not sure how it's going to go at school and whatnot, but we'll play it by ear. Like everything, right?? We got these right at the end of the insurance year, so I think we'll pick another pair in a couple weeks. Trying to decide if we'll go with something like a burgandy metallic color, or maybe something much lighter--silver or pink or pale yellow. Maybe light turquoise. Or a pearly white. Or apple green! Hard to decide! G wasn't interested in choosing a color, but we'll try again.
Also wondering if cutting her hair into a bob would make it easier or harder in terms of the strap that holds them on. Decisions, decisions....
But she looks pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself!

wicked cute! and so grown up.

My Pacey has the same pair! They are virtually indestructible and I know b/c he's tried!!
One thing we found is that the cleaner we can keep them, the more compliant he is about wearing them. Also, it took about 3-4 months of constant vigilance but now he reminds us if we forget them.
I think short hair might be more annoying with the strap...

She looks FAB in those glasses!! And so grown up. It took a couple months for Lil to adjust to her glasses, now they're no problem (for her ... Ruby loves to pull them off of her, but that's another issue altogether).

Check out Kayli's glasses- they are very light and do not require a strap to keep them on- I wouldn't like a strap on my head myself! She sure looks adorable tho!

I agree that she looks cute in her glasses. And I also agree that it'll take her sometime to get fully used in those. I wish you good luck about it.
