Me: Hi, Georgia.
G: Hi, how are you?
Me: I'm good. How are you?
G: Good.

After a bath tonight, G came down to find the kids' friend Ruby visiting while her Mom works out. She ran up to her and waving in her face said, "Hi, Ruby!" Ruby said "hi." Then Georgia ran to the playroom door and said "Let's play!"

That's just the way it goes hey. In epiphanies of progress. I often notice it most just at the beginning of the school year- something about the summer consolidates things and , voila! It moves to the next level and we sigh, we sigh and let our guards down a bit and lean into the pleasure of knowing that they will continue to move forward.... Sigh.
