Rainer and I went away for a long weekend to visit fam in CT. Alex stayed back with Georgie so she wouldn't miss camp. She LOVES camp. Last week, according to the weekly newsletter Georgia won the "Circle Time Award" for telling the class about the weather (it was "sunny"). I missed her immensely while I was gone. Though I had fun with my family and Rainer and we packed a lot into our trip. Of course now G is in full-on Daddy's Girl mode, and Rainer is Mama Boy central. They are always a little like that, but it's a little crazy getting back into the swing of things this evening.
Note to self: Perhaps Georgia gets so frustrated with things sometimes because she can't say things like "I am thirsty." "I am hot." "I am really tired, too, Mommy." (Rainer has started saying things like this and it is still wild to me that my own child would tell me these things so clearly and simply. No frickin' wonder G is sometimes a bit perturbed.)
I wish I had a crystal ball.
That said, the gal is talking more and more.
It's exciting. Truly.
