This morning we were all quite sated. SO sated in fact, Alex and Georgia went back to sleep at 9am, still sleeping off colds and the prior day's feast. Georgia is still sick (though functioning) and I think she's passed it on to her Papa Daddy and I.
We had a HUGE "Week o' Thanksgiving" planned which got changed several times over the course of the month and ultimately looked nothing like the original plan thanks to previously mentioned sicknesses and travel changes. Instead we had a nice, low-key dinner in New Hampshire. We cooked everything at Alex's mom's house and brought it all over to Georgia's great-grandparents' house since it was easier for us to go to them than have them come to us! All said and done, it was probably one of the least stressful T-days I have ever had and the food traveled nicely. Nice China be damned! (We're considering catering after pulling that one off! (Just kidding.))
Georgia ate some squash and potatoes and cranberry sauce (tart!), but since she is so stuffed up she MOSTLY preferred to just chew on her toys.
Then we went to the living room to play on the carpet and let the turkey take it's tiring toll on our tuchases (tuchi??). Georgia was trying SO HARD to get into quad position and move around (she's moving her body more and more these days), but no crawling luck just yet. She IS enjoying this new sitting position the PT and OT recommended though...
When we FIRST began this position a few weeks ago she would CRY and not tolerate it at all. I think she is getting the hang of how it might help her get into other positions now though. Silly goose.
But, oy! All this turkey talk is making me tired.
Now I am looking forward to having my husband home for two more days before he has to go back to work. And, perhaps, maybe, getting some things done. I don't know why, but I feel like I stopped all production a week ago.
Chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-choo-choo!
(Oh. And. In case you are wondering why I am writing this at 2 in the morning? It's because I, apparently, can't stay awake during movies anymore no matter how good they are and I fell asleep at 8pm while my husband and I were having movie night even though I promised him I would stay up. Have I ever told you that whenever I fall asleep before 9pm I wake up at midnight for several hours unless I am REALLY REALLY sick? Yeah. Hello!)

That top picture is cu... a classic. :)

Happy Thanksgiving! Your Sleeping Beauties are very sweet. By the look of Georgia's beautiful face, I think she must have had a good Thanksgiving.
